Miglena Papazova - A Boy or a Guinea Pig

Its creators are the writer Julia Spiridonova and the artist Miglena Papazova. The publication is aimed at beginning readers, and the ratio between text and pictures is balanced. Even the choice of font is aligned with this important goal. Few illustrators can draw as freely and virtuosically as Miglena Papazova. She is a real fury in scenes that need to recreate confusion and chaos, but she is no less adept when depicting a knuckle, an ice cream, an airport with a plane taking off... She draws in a flash, including strokes in the image that symbolize movement, onomatopoeia, and punctuation marks. All elements are integrated into the illustration in a very natural way. With just a few wild pencil strokes and some light watercolour that blends with the pencil outline, she is capable of depicting any event and any condition.
